Start of the fire break

Billy and Cory had shown us a map that seemed to say that our Pine Ridge Trail had been used as a secondary fire break during the Martin Fire, so the mutts and I decided to check it out. Toby, Buzz and I started by taking the shortcut up to the top of Pine Ridge from our trail. We turned left at the top, and in about 300 yards, we met up with the trail that starts at John Peck's place, which had been used as a secondary fire break.

For those of you who have ridden this, it's where there are a lot of BIG logs down across the paths, making it very horse unfriendly. It still is, from our side. In order to use this trail, we'll have to do something about one or more logs, I think.
